180724-N-SP229-850 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 24, 2018) Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) Team while embarked aboard Royal Canadian Navy coastal defense vessel HMCS Whitehorse (MM 705) conducts mine clearance operations using UUVs in Southern California during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise, July 3 to 27. Twenty-five nations, 46 ships, five submarines, and about 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 27 to Aug. 2 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California.
