General Charles Brown assumes command of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) during an assumption of command ceremony, July 26, 2018 on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. General Brown assumes responsibility of PACAF after two year's as Deputy Commander, U.S. Central Command, MacDill AFB, FL. General Brown's previous PACAF assignments include: F-16 pilot, 35th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Kunsan AB, South Korea from April 1987 - October 1988 and Commander, 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan AB, South Korea from May 2007 - May 2008.
