Col. Marshall Irvin Jr., Force Generation Center deputy commander, met with members of the 413th Flight Test Group to give a presentation on bridging the gap between generations July 15, 2018, at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. During the presentation, Irvin highlighted each generation, from Traditionalists to Millennials, and discussed events that shaped them. He also reviewed the impacts they’ve had on society and explained how military units are at their strongest when embracing generational differences and exploiting each person’s strengths. Irvin has served more than 31 years and is scheduled to retire later this month.
