The National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program (SPP) commemorated their 25th anniversary with a cake cutting during their 2018 conference held at Edelweiss Lodge located in the scenic Bavarian Alps in Germany on June 20, 2018. The SPP began in 1993 and has since grown to nearly 80 partnerships with countries throughout the world. The program continues to successfully build relationships between U.S. states and partnered nations in a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship.
