BN Cdr LTC Timothy Ferguson of 2-8 Cavalry out of Ft. Hood, Texas says that there is no replacement for training when it comes to keeping his deployed Soldiers skills sharp. 2-8 CAV is currently deployed to Poland with the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
