BALTIC SEA (June 4, 2018) – U.S. Marines assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Members of the Romanian 307th Naval Infantry Battalion draw weapons from the armory prior to conducting an amphibious assault aboard the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) as part of exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2018 in the Baltic Sea, June 4. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
