U.S. Marines with 1st Platoon, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and Norwegian Coastal Ranger Commandos (KJK) disembark from a CB90-class fast assault craft, and conduct a reconnaissance and surveillance patrol during Exercise Platinum Ren at Sorreisa, Norway, May 21, 2018. The exercise is a theater security cooperation training evolution with KJKs held to sustain mission essential tasks in a harsh operating environment and strengthen coalition partnerships.
