The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' National Canine Division conducts refresher training and imprints dogs with new scents during day three of the three-day National Odor Recognition Training and Testing on Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook, Calif., May 23, 2018. The purpose of NORT is to standardize training for explosive detection dogs by exposing them to a series of components used in homemade explosives they may be unfamiliar with. On day three, handlers and their dogs went through two different homemade explosives imprint stations to introduce them to new odors so they can better protect their communities.
