A 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker and its aircrew provide aerial refueling to U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornets from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 (VMFA-115), which is currently attached to the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Crisis Response - Central Command 18.2 (SPMAGTF-CR-CC 18.2), May 18, 2018. The 28th EARS, part of U.S. Air Forces Central Command, is responsible for delivering fuel for U.S. and coalition forces, enabling a persistent 24/7 presence in the area of responsibility.
