Through a cooperation between the Fort Drum Cultural Resources Department, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, and Boy Scout Troop 26, a local cemetery was cleaned on May 14 in preparation for Memorial Day. Soldiers and Scouts worked together to clean debris from the grounds, wash weathered tombstones, and plant flags at the Sheepfold Cemetery, located just outside Fort Drum, New York, adjacent to the installation's Confidence Course. Dr. Laurie Rush, PhD, Fort Drum's Cultural Resources Department Manager was discussed the importance and uniqueness of the day's events.
