A video celebrating Nurse Week and the Air Mobility Command nurses who execute the medical mission. When aeromedical evacuation was fully implemented during the Korean War, the death rate due to wounds decreased to half of that during WWII. Since then, nurses and medical technicians have continued to provide care in the air, contributing to the unprecedented high survival rate of combat injuries over the last 20 years.
