Residents residing in Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton's housing districts will now be allowing residents to own a portable air - conditioner. A portable air - conditioner is a small, independent device that may be easily transported inside a home to remove heat and moisture from an enclosed room to improve the comfort of its occupants. Residents wanting to own a portable air - conditioner must have the device stated and documented in their lease agreement. Residents can direct all questions to their local housing office.
