After providing assistance to areas affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the Pennsylvania National Guard expanded our relief efforts to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, which were devastated by a direct hit from Category 4 Hurricane Maria, which struck Sept. 20.
The Pennsylvania National Guard units involved in the response are 2nd Battalion, 104th Aviation Regiment, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, 28th Infantry Division, Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site and the 108th Area Medical Support Company, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
