U.S. artillery strike on a Taliban narcotics production facility in Helmand province on March 9th, 2018. Since the launch in November 2017 of the campaign to eliminate major sources of Taliban revenue, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan and the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have destroyed 50 narcotics facilities and removed $35 million in direct Taliban revenues.
