Marines and sailors with India Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/1, and the BLT tank platoon, conduct tank and infantry integration training at Twentynine Palms, California, March 3, 2018. The training allows the Marines to learn how to benefit from each other's strengths and become a better unit. Realistic Urban Training is a Marine Expeditionary Unit exercise providing the 13th MEU the opportunity to integrate individual and unit level skills and to develop their collective proficiency in challenging and unfamiliar environments. Exercises like RUT are necessary to provide robust, realistic training that is indispensable in preparing our Marines and sailors to deploy in urban environments. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
