Contract workers for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers download a temporary power generator at an elementary school in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on Feb. 26, 2018.
Following Hurricane Maria's landfall, the Corps has installed over 1,600 emergency power generators at facilities and in municipalities throughout Puerto Rico providing temporary power until grid power is restored.
The Corps continues working to ensure Puerto Rican’s have an adequate quality of life and essential services so that they can take care of their families and businesses.
