Last week, a survey team with the St. Paul District conducted the first ice survey on #LakePepin. Measurements taken here - on the widest and slowest-moving segment of the #MississippiRiver - help frame a picture of when the river will be clear of ice, allowing navigation to St. Paul and announcing the start of the 2018 navigation season.
