YAVORIV, UKRAINE -- The Honorable Mark T. Esper, the 23rd United States Secretary of the Army visited the Yavoriv Combat Training Center here, Feb. 2. Esper, who was appointed Secretary last month, was accompanied by his wife Leah, Lt. Gen. Christopher Cavoli, the U.S. Army Europe commander, and Brig. Gen. Tony Aguto, commander of the 7th Army Training Command. During the visit Esper met with Soldiers and key leaders of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (forward) assigned to the Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine.
