Capt Asha Wyatt is the operations officer of the Aeromedical Evacuation Control Team, with the 455th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. The 455 EAES provides aeromedical evac to U.S., coalition, and NATO forces throughout Afghanistan. If the 455 EAES can get to a wounded ground troop within the golden hour, which is the actual hour after the incident happens, or dust off can arrive within the same time frame, the patient has a 100% chance of survival. The 455 EAES is a vital component of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing - Bagram Airfield ability to #DefendSupportDeliver #Airpower.
