U.S. Army Private First Class Paul Gottfried recites several patriotic poems and talks about his experience serving the community as a member of the American Legion May 3, 2017 in Johnstown, OH. Gottfried recited his beloved flag poems from memory despite being 94 years old and diagnosed with brain cancer. He passed away one month after this video was shot. His recitations were recorded for posterity and to be used for 121st Air Refueling Wing internal products.
