U.S. Soldiers with the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade conduct training using the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) egress assistance trainer (HEAT), at Katterbach Kaserne, Germany, Dec. 22, 2017. The purpose of the HEAT is to train soldiers on the proper procedures to egress from an inverted HMMWV. The HEAT is just one of multiple training systems, facilities and resources available to U.S. and partner nation forces in Europe through the 7th U.S. Army Joint Multinational Training Command.
