With funding from the Air Force SBIR/STTR program, Global Neighbor developed a technology for killing weeds using directed energy. The technology allows for weed abatement without the use of chemicals or herbicides. The technology has also proven appropriate for use in commercial applications. Development of the technology included research conducted at Central State University in Ohio, and was Global Neighbor's very first SBIR program.
