U.S. Air Force 8th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcons return to Kunsan Air Base, Republic of South Korea during night operations, Dec 5, 2017, after a training mission in support of VIGILANT ACE 18. The F-16s will fly several missions during the regularly scheduled exercise, giving U.S. and allied forces the opportunity to integrate and operate together and hone their ability to defend the Indo-Asian Pacific region. VIGILANT ACE 18 marks the first appearance of 5th Generation Aircraft in the annually scheduled exercise.
