Students from the 361st Training Squadron's aerospace propulsion turboprop/turboshaft apprentice course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, install a C-130J propeller on the wing of a C-130E wing. 75 percent of students in this course will work on J-model C-130's. Until recently, Sheppard had no hands-on training for students assigned to the J-model.
