Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni residents and Japanese locals participate in a Cultural Adaptation Program chestnut picking trip in Iwakuni City, Japan, Oct. 20, 2017. Chestnuts are a type of food commonly eaten during the fall season in Japan and are one of the many specialties of Iwakuni. Cultural Adaptation offers events, trips and classes for station residents.
