The Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) hosts an opening ceremony and Health and Fitness Expo at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Md., Oct. 20, 2017. Also known as "The People's Marathon," the 26.2 mile race drew participants from around the world to promote physical fitness, generate goodwill in the community, and showcase the organizational skills of the Marine Corps.
