Diana Holland, commander of the South Atlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, explains the importance of making repairs at Guajataca Dam, in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, which was compromised during Hurricane Maria. Hurricane Maria formed in the Atlantic Ocean and affected islands in the Caribbean Sea, including Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. U.S. military assets continue to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency, state and local authorities in rescue and relief efforts.
