The Inspector Generals office and the Wing Inspection Team of the North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) conducted an in-depth severe weather exercise at the NCANG Base, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, Oct. 24, 2017. Part of an annual inspection requirement the unit simulated a natural disaster from start to finish, going so far as to cut power to the multiple squadrons and simulated incident related injuries.
