A suspected smuggling boat, a low profile vessel, drifts in the Eastern Pacific Ocean after being intercepted in early October by the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Active. Bales of cocaine were discovered aboard the vessel by a Coast Guard boarding team during a routine counter smuggling patrol in the region. Low profile vessels are designed to avoid detection.
