Soldiers from the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade participated in a unique “World Run” event on October 20. The brigade currently has personnel in 14 different locations across the globe and designed the event to celebrate their diversity and show that they are united in their mission to defend the United States and its Allies and uphold their Army Values.
Simultaneously, at 1200 Zulu, Soldiers from locations such as New York, Germany, Latvia, Romania, Iraq, Kuwait, and South Korea, all gathered to hear the same speech written by Col. Clair A. Gill, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade commander, and then embarked on a four-mile run at their respective locations. The earliest runners began at 8 a.m. in New York were joined by Falcon Families, while 10th CAB’s 6th Squadron, 6th Cavalry in South Korea, were the latest to run, beginning in the dark at 9 p.m. local time.
