U.S. Coast Guard crew members from the Helicopter Interceptor Squadron pursue a suspected smuggling vessel in international waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean February 24, 2017. HITRON crews use commands, warning shots and when necessary engine-disabling gunfire to help stop suspicious vessels which are then boarded by Coast Guard boarding officers operating on cutters and partner agency ships on patrol in the region.
