    Preparation:
    The Marine will start in the standing position with feet hip width apart.
    Execution:
    The Marine will step out with one leg and drop the hips toward the deck, keeping the rear leg straight, front knee behind the toe, front foot flat and the chest up. At the bottom of the lunge, they will reach up with the opposite hand of the forward leg as high as they can and then over. The Marine will step up on the forward leg and repeat on the other side.
    Common Mistakes: - Not keeping front foot flat
    - Not reach up before over
