U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), under the direction of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), alongside joint Department of Defense forces, help to clear roadways to aid to those affected by Hurricane Irma in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Sept. 12, 2017. The 26th MEU is supporting authorities in the U.S. Virgin Islands with the combined goal of protecting the lives and safety of those in affected areas. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Adam D.
