    7 Foundational Movement – Squat
    Primary Muscle Groups – Glutes, Hamstring, Quadriceps
    Secondary Muscle Groups – Lower back, Shoulders
    Preparation:
    The Marine will press two kettlebells overhead until the elbows are locked out and the biceps are in line with the ears. They will place their feet in a long, staggered stance, keeping the front foot flat and the heel of the rear foot off the ground.
    Execution:
    The Marine will pull the shoulder blades down and back to lock them into the body. They will drop their hips straight down between their feet, keeping the front foot flat and the knee behind the toes on the forward leg. From the bottom position they will drive their hips straight up to the starting position.

    Common Mistakes: - Bending the elbows
    - Not keeping front foot flat
    - Not dropping hips straight down
