Senior Airman Kevin Greene, (Melbourne, Florida resident; Brooklyn, New York native), an amputee Air Force reservist with the 920th Rescue Wing, returns to duty Aug. 6, 2017 after a two-and-a-half year fight to continue to wear the uniform. Greene, who lost a portion of his left leg in a motorcycle accident on Dec. 17, 2014, is the first and only Air Force Reserve amputee to serve at Patrick AFB. Greene is a Brooklyn, New York, native, but resides in Melbourne, Florida.
