Team AFRL kicked off the 10th Commander's Challenge, a design competition that poses real-world problems to teams of junior personnel from Air Force Materiel Command bases. This year’s challenge came straight from Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein, the “Precision Remote Resupply” challenge requires teams to develop solutions to remotely deliver 50 pounds of supplies, 30 miles away, to an area less than 400 square feet -- all at low cost, with minimal manpower to operate and maintain.
