Drill instructors of Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, spoke to their new Marines during guided discussions July 11, 2017, on Parris Island, S.C. After recruits complete the Crucible and earn the title Marine, their drill instructors treat them as fellow Marines and continue mentoring them on their path through the Marine Corps.
