United States Vice President Mike Pence and Georgian President Giorgi Margavelashvili spoke about the importance of partnership and defending the sovereignty of Georgia with Soldiers of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Battalion 66th Armor Regiment, Georgian Armed Forces and the United States’ Georgia Air National Guard as part of Exercise Noble Partner 2017. Noble Partner 2017 is a U.S. Army Europe-led exercise designed to support the training, progression, and eventual certification of Georgia’s second light infantry company contribution to the NATO Response Force.
