U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to Army Reserve Medical Command’s 7221st Medical Support Unit and Navy medical personnel assigned to 4th Medical Bn., 4th Marine Logistics Group, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve in partnership with Round Valley Indian Health Services, will be offering health care services at the Round Valley Indian Health Clinic in Covelo, California.
Approximately 15 medical personnel from 7221st MSU and 4th Dental Bn. will support the clinic from 17-28 JUL 2017. This clinic supports a tribal population of over 5,000 people.
The 15 medical professionals include an RN, a Dentist (U.S. Navy), a certified Nurse Practitioner, one patient admin, one Radiology Tech, a medical tech, two Dental Tech’s (U.S. Navy) and five support staff. Medical professionals providing support for this mission are from the 7221st Medical Support Unit based out of Newark, Delaware, and the 4th Medical Bn., out of San Diego, California.
Medical services provided included general exams, school exams and physicals. Dental services provided included exams, x-rays, general cleaning and extractions.
