Soldiers from the 2d Cavalry Regiment stationed at Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany arrive at the Tbilisi, Georgia International Airport as part of Exercise Noble Partner. The Soldiers and two Stryker vehicles were airlifted to Georgia by a Bulgarian Air Force C-17 Cargo aircraft in order to exercise the logistical capabilities of transportation systems in the event of a real world crisis. Exercise Noble Partner is hosted by Georgia and supports the training of and eventual certification of Georgia's second light infantry company contribution to the NATO Response Force. Noble Partner begins on 30 July with an opening ceremony and continues through 12 Aug.
