Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, participated in a Level 1 Combatives Class, hosted by Staff Sgt. Benjamin Sliger, Alpha Company, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, July 17, 2017. This course is designed to teach Soldiers the basic combative skills who can then teach Soldiers within their companies. After completing the week-long course, individuals will be Combatives Level 1 certified.
