U.S. Marines with Belize Detachment, Security Cooperation Training Team 17, conduct a final patrol exercise with members of the Belize Coast Guard near Belize City, Belize, May 3-5, 2017. The coast guardsmen demonstrated their ability to conduct patrols to use in real life situations as part of the basic infantry skills course taught by the SCTT Marines. The Marines and sailors of SCTT 17 are deployed to Central America to conduct tailored training with military units in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Belize.
