Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting field investigations at various dams in the Willamette Valley. This includes digging test pits and taking core samples of the dam structure. These investigations will give the District more info about potential risks associated with the dam. The studies are part of the Corps' national Dam Safety Program.
