Marines assigned to Marine Air Control Squadron 2 conduct machine gun training during the Weapons and Tactics Instructor course near Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ, April 15, 2017. The training is designed to re-familiarize the Marines with the weapon's system as they continue with their training. WTI is a seven week training course hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 designed to provide standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications that support Marine Aviation training and readiness and to provide assistance in the development and employment of aviation weapons and tactics.MACS-2 is assigned to Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
