Marines prepare to board a plane at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 8, 2017. The Marines took part in a Continental U.S. Based Alert Force exercise which sent the Marines to Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, where they demonstrated the ability to move an entire company of Marines to a foreign country on short notice. The Marines are with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment.
