The Heritage Today Program video, "Defenders," tells the story of one of the Air Force's most notable career fields through the eyes of a Security Forces Airman. Air Force Security Forces is more than 38,000 Airmen and civilians strong. The mission includes the execution of law and order, integrated defense and nuclear security. The career field also has dog handlers and combat arms specialists that enable the execution of the mission. Each video in the Heritage Today series, produced by the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence, is linked to the core values and is designed to inspire Airmen through stories of Air Force heritage connected to current real-world Air Force operations.
