MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Feb. 17, 2017) The pilot of an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Ragin Bulls" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37 launches from a catapult on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) while underway in the Mediterranean Sea. The ship and its carrier strike group are deployed to the region to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
