On Mar. 31, 2017 the Chargin' Cheetahs host the 44th FFR. The Freedom Flyers are Air Force pilots who were Vietnam War POWs that returned to flight status beginning in 1973 following their release from captivity. The 560th Flying Training Squadron continues the tradition and to date, it has returned 196 Freedom Flyers to the sky.
