    The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star, a 399-foot heavy icebreaker homeported in Seattle, moors up and is greeted by friends and family members at Pier 66, March 17, 2017.

    The crew returned from a 107-day deployment to Antarctica in support of Operation Deep Freeze 2017, the U.S. military component of the Natural Science Foundation-managed U.S. Antarctic Program.
