As a 10-year-old-girl, Eszter Deak was returning to Austria from a vacation in Romania when she saw an American military convoy. She was so impressed by the soldiers she saw, she dreamed of becoming part of them.
Twenty-three years later, Deak is now donning her own uniform at Field Camp Prizren, Kosovo, as part of Kosovo Force, or KFOR, a NATO-led peace support operation, working as a logistics officer for the Joint Logistics Support Group (JLSG)
